Human ESR2/ER-beta Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Phe148, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 18.47 kDa. Binds estrogens with an affinity similar to that of ESR1/ER-alpha, and activates expression of reporter genes containing estrogen response elements (ERE) in an estrogen-dependent manner.
