Human FGF5 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser82-Ser222, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 18.34 kDa. Required for normal regulation of the hair growth cycle. Functions as an inhibitor of hair elongation by promoting progression from anagen, the growth phase of the hair follicle, into catagen the apoptosis-induced regression phase.
