Description
Human FLNA Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human FLNA Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser2-Pro274, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 32.88 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Filamin-A (FLNA/Filamin A) is a ~280 kDa protein. Promotes orthogonal branching of actin filaments and links actin filaments to membrane glycoproteins. For research use only.
Anchors various transmembrane proteins to the actin cytoskeleton and serves as a scaffold for a wide range of cytoplasmic signaling proteins. Interaction with FLNB may allow neuroblast migration from the ventricular zone into the cortical plate. Tethers cell surface-localized furin, modulates its rate of internalization and directs its intracellular trafficking. Involved in ciliogenesis.
