Human FLNC Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Glu17-Lys259, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 30.49 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Filamin-C (FLNC) is a ~291 kDa protein. Muscle-specific filamin, which plays a central role in sarcomere assembly and organization. For research use only.
Critical for normal myogenesis, it probably functions as a large actin-cross-linking protein with structural functions at the Z lines in muscle cells. May be involved in reorganizing the actin cytoskeleton in response to signaling events.
