Description
Human FN1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human FN1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly313-Ser607, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 35.98 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Fibronectin (FN) is a ~272 kDa protein. Fibronectins bind cell surfaces and various compounds including collagen, fibrin, heparin, DNA, and actin. For research use only.
Fibronectins are involved in cell adhesion, cell motility, opsonization, wound healing, and maintenance of cell shape. Involved in osteoblast compaction through the fibronectin fibrillogenesis cell-mediated matrix assembly process, essential for osteoblast mineralization. Participates in the regulation of type I collagen deposition by osteoblasts. Acts as a ligand for the LILRB4 receptor, inhibiting FCGR1A/CD64-mediated monocyte activation.
