Description
Human FOXE1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human FOXE1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Tyr56-Gly183, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 16.64 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Forkhead box protein E1 is a ~38 kDa protein. Transcription factor that binds consensus sites on a variety of gene promoters and activate their transcription. For research use only.
Involved in proper palate formation, most probably through the expression of MSX1 and TGFB3 genes which are direct targets of this transcription factor. Also implicated in thyroid gland morphogenesis. May indirectly play a role in cell growth and migration through the regulation of WNT5A expression.
