Description
Human HADH Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human HADH Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Arg236, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 27.82 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Hydroxyacyl-coenzyme A dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (HADH) is a ~34 kDa protein. Mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation enzyme that catalyzes the third step of the beta-oxidation cycle for medium and short-chain 3-hydroxy fatty acyl-CoAs (C4 to C10). For research use only.
Plays a role in the control of insulin secretion by inhibiting the activation of glutamate dehydrogenase 1 (GLUD1), an enzyme that has an important role in regulating amino acid-induced insulin secretion. Plays a role in the maintenance of normal spermatogenesis through the reduction of fatty acid accumulation in the testes.
