Description
Human HDAC6 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human HDAC6 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser479-Arg835, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 41.23 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Protein deacetylase HDAC6 is a ~131 kDa protein. Deacetylates a wide range of non-histone substrates. For research use only.
Plays a central role in microtubule-dependent cell motility by mediating deacetylation of tubulin. Required for cilia disassembly via deacetylation of alpha-tubulin. Alpha-tubulin deacetylation results in destabilization of dynamic microtubules. Promotes deacetylation of CTTN, leading to actin polymerization, promotion of autophagosome-lysosome fusion and completion of autophagy.
