Description
Human HNF4A Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human HNF4A Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gln131-Ser330, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 24.94 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Hepatocyte nuclear factor 4-alpha (HNF4A) is a ~52 kDa protein. Transcriptional regulator which controls the expression of hepatic genes during the transition of endodermal cells to hepatic progenitor cells, facilitating the recruitment of RNA pol II to the promoters of target genes. For research use only.
Activates the transcription of CYP2C38. Represses the CLOCK-BMAL1 transcriptional activity and is essential for circadian rhythm maintenance and period regulation in the liver and colon cells.
