Description
Human HPS4 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human HPS4 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser13-His216, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 25.47 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. BLOC-3 complex member HPS4 is a ~76 kDa protein. Component of the BLOC-3 complex, a complex that acts as a guanine exchange factor (GEF) for RAB32 and RAB38, promotes the exchange of GDP to GTP, converting them from an inactive GDP-bound form into an active GTP-bound form. For research use only.
The BLOC-3 complex plays an important role in the control of melanin production and melanosome biogenesis and promotes the membrane localization of RAB32 and RAB38.
