Human HPS5 Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO & C-Strep) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ala728-Lys813, with an N-terminal His-SUMO tag and a C-terminal Strep tag. Predicted molecular weight: 23.33 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. BLOC-2 complex member HPS5 is a ~127 kDa protein. May regulate the synthesis and function of lysosomes and of highly specialized organelles, such as melanosomes and platelet dense granules. For research use only.
Regulates intracellular vesicular trafficking in fibroblasts. May be involved in the regulation of general functions of integrins.
