Human HRG Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ala18-Gly254, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 29.53 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Histidine-rich glycoprotein (HRG) is a ~59 kDa protein. Binds heparin and heparin/glycosaminoglycans in a zinc-dependent manner. Binds heparan sulfate on the surface of liver, lung, kidney and heart endothelial cells. Binds to N-sulfated polysaccharide chains on the surface of liver endothelial cells. Inhibits rosette formation.
