Human HSPB8 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly80-Thr196, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Heat shock protein beta-8 is a ~21 kDa protein. Involved in the chaperone-assisted selective autophagy (CASA), a crucial process for protein quality control, particularly in mechanical strained cells and tissues such as muscle.
