Description
Human IDH3G Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human IDH3G Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly53-Ala393, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 39.70 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Isocitrate dehydrogenase [NAD] subunit gamma, mitochondrial is a ~42 kDa protein. Regulatory subunit which plays a role in the allosteric regulation of the enzyme catalyzing the decarboxylation of isocitrate (ICT) into alpha-ketoglutarate. For research use only.
The heterodimer composed of the alpha (IDH3A) and beta (IDH3B) subunits and the heterodimer composed of the alpha (IDH3A) and gamma (IDH3G) subunits, have considerable basal activity but the full activity of the heterotetramer (containing two subunits of IDH3A, one of IDH3B and one of IDH3G) requires the assembly and cooperative function of both heterodimers.
