Description
Human IFT20 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human IFT20 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Lys132, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 17.44 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Intraflagellar transport protein 20 homolog (IFT20) is a ~15 kDa protein. Part of intraflagellar transport (IFT) particles involved in ciliary process assembly. For research use only.
May play a role in the trafficking of ciliary membrane proteins from the Golgi complex to the cilium. Regulates the platelet-derived growth factor receptor-alpha (PDGFRA) signaling pathway. Required for protein stability of E3 ubiquitin ligases CBL and CBLB that mediate ubiquitination and internalization of PDGFRA for proper feedback inhibition of PDGFRA signaling. Essential for male fertility.
