Description
Human IGSF1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human IGSF1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ala1008-Ser1227, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 26.24 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Immunoglobulin superfamily member 1 (IGSF1) is a ~148 kDa protein. Seems to be a coreceptor in inhibin signaling, but seems not to be a high-affinity inhibin receptor. For research use only.
Antagonizes activin A signaling in the presence or absence of inhibin B. Necessary to mediate a specific antagonistic effect of inhibin B on activin-stimulated transcription.
