Human IL-15RA / IL-15 R alpha ELISA Kit

IL-15RA is a cytokine receptor that binds interleukin 15 (IL15) very strongly. IL-15RA has structural similarities to IL2R alpha, an additional IL2-specific alpha subunit required for strong binding of IL2. Unlike IL2RA, however, IL15RA binds IL15 with high affinity regardless of other subunits, suggesting that it has distinct functions to IL2. The activating G protein-coupled receptors are activated by the ligand and stimulate the cell to proliferate. This receptor is believed to boost cell proliferation and BCL2L1/BCL2-XL and BCL2 expression. Several variant transcript forms of this gene have been documented. T-Cell Large Granular Lymphocyte Leukemia and Ossification Of The Posterior Longitudinal Ligament Of Spine are examples of illnesses linked with IL15RA. Innate Lymphoid Cells Differentiation and Common Cytokine Receptor Gamma-Chain Family Signaling Pathways are two related pathways that it is involved in.
