Description

Human IL39 ELISA Kit

Human IL39 ELISA kits are used to detect Interleukin 39 (IL39) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and other biological samples. IL-39, written here as IL39, is a proposed cytokine of the interleukin-12 family formed by the pairing of the IL-23 p19 subunit with Ebi3, a subunit shared with IL-27 and IL-35. It has been reported to be secreted by activated B cells and neutrophils and to signal through a receptor made of IL-23R and gp130, activating STAT1 and STAT3 pathways and promoting inflammatory responses. IL-39 was first described in studies of lupus-prone animal models, in which it was associated with neutrophil recruitment and autoantibody production, and increased levels have also been reported in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. Its biology is still being characterized, and it is studied in autoimmunity and inflammation.
