Description
Human INA Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human INA Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser137-Gly411, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 33.54 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Alpha-internexin is a ~55 kDa protein. Class-IV neuronal intermediate filament that is able to self-assemble. For research use only.
It is involved in the morphogenesis of neurons. It may form an independent structural network without the involvement of other neurofilaments or it may cooperate with NEFL to form the filamentous backbone to which NEFM and NEFH attach to form the cross-bridges. May also cooperate with the neuronal intermediate filament protein PRPH to form filamentous networks.
