Human Ketohexokinase ELISA

KHK (Ketohexokinase) is a key enzyme in the glycolysis pathway. It catalyzes the conversion of glucose-6-phosphate to fructose-6-phosphate. KHK is used as a biomarker for diabetes mellitus and obesity. KHK inhibitors are potential therapeutics for the treatment of diabetes mellitus and obesity. Diseases associated with KHK include Fructosuria, Essential and Basidiobolomycosis. Among KHK related pathways are Glycosaminoglycan metabolism and Fructose metabolism. An important paralog of KHK is ADK.
