Human LIPH Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human LIPH Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Glu19-Leu451, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 51.63 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Lipase member H is a ~50 kDa protein. Hydrolyzes specifically phosphatidic acid (PA) to produce 2-acyl lysophosphatidic acid (LPA; a potent bioactive lipid mediator) and fatty acid. For research use only.
Does not hydrolyze other phospholipids, like phosphatidylserine (PS), phosphatidylcholine (PC) and phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) or triacylglycerol (TG).
