Human LRIF1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human LRIF1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning His190-Asn311, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Ligand-dependent nuclear receptor-interacting factor 1 is a ~84 kDa protein. Together with SMCHD1, involved in chromosome X inactivation in females by promoting the compaction of heterochromatin. For research use only.
Also able to repress the ligand-induced transcriptional activity of retinoic acid receptor alpha (RARA), possibly through direct recruitment of histone deacetylases. Also required for silencing of the DUX4 locus in somatic cells.
