Description
Human LZTS2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human LZTS2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser320-Glu539, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 28.00 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Leucine zipper putative tumor suppressor 2 (LZTS2) is a ~72 kDa protein. Negative regulator of katanin-mediated microtubule severing and release from the centrosome. For research use only.
Required for central spindle formation and the completion of cytokinesis. May negatively regulate axonal outgrowth by preventing the formation of microtubule bundles that are necessary for transport within the elongating axon. Negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway. Represses beta-catenin-mediated transcriptional activation by promoting the nuclear exclusion of beta-catenin.
