Description
Human MAP3K14 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human MAP3K14 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser332-Ser663, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 38.67 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 14 (MAP3K14) is a ~104 kDa protein. Lymphotoxin beta-activated kinase which seems to be exclusively involved in the activation of NF-kappa-B and its transcriptional activity. For research use only.
Phosphorylates CHUK/IKKA, thereby promoting proteolytic processing of NFKB2/P100, which leads to NF-kappa-B activation via the non-canonical pathway. Has an essential role in the non-canonical NF-kappa-B signaling that regulates genes encoding molecules involved in B-cell survival, lymphoid organogenesis, and immune response. Could act in a receptor-selective manner.
