Description
Human MGRN1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human MGRN1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asp16-Gln251, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 29.07 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MGRN1 is a ~60 kDa protein. E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. For research use only.
Mediates monoubiquitination at multiple sites of TSG101 in the presence of UBE2D1, but not of UBE2G1, nor UBE2H. Plays a role in the regulation of endosome-to-lysosome trafficking. Impairs MC1R- and MC4R-signaling by competing with GNAS-binding to MCRs and inhibiting agonist-induced cAMP production. Does not inhibit ADRB2-signaling.
