Description
Human MMP19 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human MMP19 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Tyr98-Tyr508, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 48.76 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Matrix metalloproteinase-19 (MMP19) is a ~57 kDa protein. Endopeptidase that degrades various components of the extracellular matrix, such as aggrecan and cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (comp), during development, haemostasis and pathological conditions (arthritic disease). For research use only.
May also play a role in neovascularization or angiogenesis. Hydrolyzes collagen type IV, laminin, nidogen, nascin-C isoform, fibronectin, and type I gelatin.
