Human MYBPC3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Glu451, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 50.90 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Myosin-binding protein C, cardiac-type (MYBPC3) is a ~140 kDa protein. Thick filament-associated protein located in the crossbridge region of vertebrate striated muscle a bands. In vitro it binds MHC, F-actin and native thin filaments, and modifies the activity of actin-activated myosin ATPase. It may modulate muscle contraction or may play a more structural role.
