Description
Human NAA20 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human NAA20 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Glu178, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 22.53 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. N-alpha-acetyltransferase 20 is a ~20 kDa protein. Catalytic subunit of the NatB complex which catalyzes acetylation of the N-terminal methionine residues of peptides beginning with Met-Asp, Met-Glu, Met-Asn and Met-Gln. For research use only.
Proteins with cell cycle functions are overrepresented in the pool of NatB substrates. Required for maintaining the structure and function of actomyosin fibers and for proper cellular migration.
