Description
Human NAXE Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human NAXE Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly118-Glu282, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 20.52 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. NAD(P)H-hydrate epimerase (NAXE) is a ~31 kDa protein. Catalyzes the epimerization of the S- and R-forms of NAD(P)HX, a damaged form of NAD(P)H that is a result of enzymatic or heat-dependent hydration. For research use only.
This is a prerequisite for the S-specific NAD(P)H-hydrate dehydratase to allow the repair of both epimers of NAD(P)HX. Accelerates cholesterol efflux from endothelial cells to high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and thereby regulates angiogenesis.
