Description
Human NDRG1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human NDRG1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asp31-Met315, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 33.61 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Protein NDRG1 is a ~42 kDa protein. Stress-responsive protein involved in hormone responses, cell growth, and differentiation. For research use only.
Acts as a tumor suppressor in many cell types. Necessary but not sufficient for p53/TP53-mediated caspase activation and apoptosis. Has a role in cell trafficking, notably of the Schwann cell, and is necessary for the maintenance and development of the peripheral nerve myelin sheath. Required for vesicular recycling of CDH1 and TF.
