Human NDUFA2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Ala99, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 12.95 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex subunit 2 is a ~10 kDa protein. Accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), that is believed not to be involved in catalysis. For research use only.
Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone.
