Human NDUFA6 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Pro128, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 16.19 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex subunit 6 is a ~15 kDa protein. Accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), that is believed to be not involved in catalysis. For research use only.
Required for proper complex I assembly. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone.
