Human NOS3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg756-Gly1161, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 47.50 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Nitric oxide synthase 3 (NOS3) is a ~133 kDa protein. Produces nitric oxide (NO) which is implicated in vascular smooth muscle relaxation through a cGMP-mediated signal transduction pathway. NO mediates vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-induced angiogenesis in coronary vessels and promotes blood clotting through the activation of platelets.
