Description
Human NOTCH4 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human NOTCH4 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asp1715-Lys2002, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 31.93 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Neurogenic locus notch homolog protein 4 (NOTCH4) is a ~209 kDa protein. Functions as a receptor for membrane-bound ligands Jagged1, Jagged2 and Delta1 to regulate cell-fate determination. For research use only.
Upon ligand activation through the released notch intracellular domain (NICD) it forms a transcriptional activator complex with RBPJ/RBPSUH and activates genes of the enhancer of split locus. Affects the implementation of differentiation, proliferation and apoptotic programs. May regulate branching morphogenesis in the developing vascular system.
