Human NPHS1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human NPHS1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asp170-Asn436, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Nephrin is a ~134 kDa protein. Seems to play a role in the development or function of the kidney glomerular filtration barrier. For research use only.
Regulates glomerular vascular permeability. May anchor the podocyte slit diaphragm to the actin cytoskeleton. Plays a role in skeletal muscle formation through regulation of myoblast fusion.
