Description
Human NSF Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human NSF Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Asp744, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 84.76 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Vesicle-fusing ATPase (NSF) is a ~82 kDa protein. Required for vesicle-mediated transport. For research use only.
Catalyzes the fusion of transport vesicles within the Golgi cisternae. Is also required for transport from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi stack. Seems to function as a fusion protein required for the delivery of cargo proteins to all compartments of the Golgi stack independent of vesicle origin. Interaction with AMPAR subunit GRIA2 leads to influence GRIA2 membrane cycling.
