Description
Human OGA Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human OGA Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser6-Lys240, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 28.58 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Protein O-GlcNAcase (OGA) is a ~102 kDa protein. Cleaves GlcNAc but not GalNAc from O-glycosylated proteins. For research use only.
Deglycosylates a large and diverse number of proteins, such as CRYAB, ELK1, GSDMD, LMNB1 and TAB1. Can use p-nitrophenyl-beta-GlcNAc and 4-methylumbelliferone-GlcNAc as substrates but not p-nitrophenyl-beta-GalNAc or p-nitrophenyl-alpha-GlcNAc (in vitro). Does not bind acetyl-CoA and does not have histone acetyltransferase activity.
