Description
Human OLIG2 Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO & C-Strep)
Human OLIG2 Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO & C-Strep) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Thr102-His180, with an N-terminal His-SUMO tag and a C-terminal Strep tag. Predicted molecular weight: 22.81 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Oligodendrocyte transcription factor 2 (OLIG2) is a ~32 kDa protein. Required for oligodendrocyte and motor neuron specification in the spinal cord, as well as for the development of somatic motor neurons in the hindbrain. For research use only.
Functions together with ZNF488 to promote oligodendrocyte differentiation. Cooperates with OLIG1 to establish the pMN domain of the embryonic neural tube. Antagonist of V2 interneuron and of NKX2-2-induced V3 interneuron development.
