Human PARD3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Glu81&Thr583-Arg683, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Partitioning defective 3 homolog is a ~151 kDa protein. Adapter protein involved in asymmetrical cell division and cell polarization processes. For research use only.
Seems to play a central role in the formation of epithelial tight junctions. Targets the phosphatase PTEN to cell junctions. Involved in Schwann cell peripheral myelination. Association with PARD6B may prevent the interaction of PARD3 with F11R/JAM1, thereby preventing tight junction assembly.
