Description
Human PCBD1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human PCBD1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Thr104, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 14.16 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Pterin-4-alpha-carbinolamine dehydratase is a ~12 kDa protein. Involved in tetrahydrobiopterin biosynthesis. For research use only.
Seems to both prevent the formation of 7-pterins and accelerate the formation of quinonoid-BH2. Coactivator for HNF1A-dependent transcription. Regulates the dimerization of homeodomain protein HNF1A and enhances its transcriptional activity. Also acts as a coactivator for HNF1B-dependent transcription.
