Description
Human PDGFB Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human PDGFB Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser82-Ser192, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 14.83 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Platelet-derived growth factor subunit B (PDGFB) is a ~27 kDa protein. Growth factor that plays an essential role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, cell migration, survival and chemotaxis. For research use only.
Potent mitogen for cells of mesenchymal origin. Required for normal proliferation and recruitment of pericytes and vascular smooth muscle cells in the central nervous system, skin, lung, heart and placenta. Required for normal blood vessel development, and for normal development of kidney glomeruli. Plays an important role in wound healing.
