Description
Human PDIA6 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human PDIA6 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Leu20-Leu440, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 49.07 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Protein disulfide-isomerase A6 is a ~48 kDa protein. May function as a chaperone that inhibits aggregation of misfolded proteins. For research use only.
Negatively regulates the unfolded protein response (UPR) through binding to UPR sensors such as ERN1, which in turn inactivates ERN1 signaling. May also regulate the UPR via the EIF2AK3 UPR sensor. Plays a role in platelet aggregation and activation by agonists such as convulxin, collagen and thrombin.
