Description
Human PEBP1 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human PEBP1 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Met1-Lys187, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 22.01 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein 1 (PEBP1) is a ~21 kDa protein. Binds ATP, opioids and phosphatidylethanolamine. For research use only.
Has lower affinity for phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine. Serine protease inhibitor which inhibits thrombin, neuropsin and chymotrypsin but not trypsin, tissue type plasminogen activator and elastase. Inhibits the kinase activity of RAF1 by inhibiting its activation and by dissociating the RAF1/MEK complex and acting as a competitive inhibitor of MEK phosphorylation.
