Human PGAM2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Lys253, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 30.93 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Phosphoglycerate mutase 2 (PGAM2) is a ~28 kDa protein. Catalyzes the interconversion of 3- and 2-phosphoglycerate with 2,3-bisphosphoglycerate as the primer of the reaction. For research use only.
Can also catalyze the interconversion of (2R)-2,3-bisphosphoglycerate and (2R)-3-phospho-glyceroyl phosphate, but with a reduced activity.
