Description
Human PICK1 Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO & C-Strep)
Human PICK1 Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO & C-Strep) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly15-Leu114, with an N-terminal His-SUMO tag and a C-terminal Strep tag. Predicted molecular weight: 23.98 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. PRKCA-binding protein (PICK1) is a ~46 kDa protein. Probable adapter protein that bind to and organize the subcellular localization of a variety of membrane proteins containing some PDZ recognition sequence. For research use only.
Involved in the clustering of various receptors, possibly by acting at the receptor internalization level. Plays a role in synaptic plasticity by regulating the trafficking and internalization of AMPA receptors. May be regulated upon PRKCA activation. May regulate ASIC1/ASIC3 channel.
