Description
Human PLCL1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human PLCL1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met400-Asn849, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 53.34 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Inactive phospholipase C-like protein 1 is a ~122 kDa protein. Involved in an inositol phospholipid-based intracellular signaling cascade. For research use only.
Shows no PLC activity to phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate and phosphatidylinositol. Component in the phospho-dependent endocytosis process of GABA A receptor. Regulates the turnover of receptors and thus contributes to the maintenance of GABA-mediated synaptic inhibition. Its aberrant expression could contribute to the genesis and progression of lung carcinoma.
