Human PLIN3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser254-Ser378, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Perilipin-3 is a ~47 kDa protein. Structural component of lipid droplets, which is required for the formation and maintenance of lipid storage droplets. For research use only.
Required for the transport of mannose 6-phosphate receptors (MPR) from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network.
