Description
Human PPM1A Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human PPM1A Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly2-Trp382, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 44.61 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Protein phosphatase 1A (PPM1A) is a ~42 kDa protein. Enzyme with a broad specificity. For research use only.
Negatively regulates TGF-beta signaling through dephosphorylating SMAD2 and SMAD3, resulting in their dissociation from SMAD4, nuclear export of the SMADs and termination of the TGF-beta-mediated signaling. Dephosphorylates PRKAA1 and PRKAA2. Plays an important role in the termination of TNF-mediated NF-kappa-B activation through dephosphorylating and inactivating IKBKB/IKKB.
