Human PRC1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Ser466, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Protein regulator of cytokinesis 1 is a ~71 kDa protein. Key regulator of cytokinesis that cross-links antiparrallel microtubules at an average distance of 35 nM. For research use only.
Essential for controlling the spatiotemporal formation of the midzone and successful cytokinesis. Required for KIF14 localization to the central spindle and midbody. Required to recruit PLK1 to the spindle. Stimulates PLK1 phosphorylation of RACGAP1 to allow recruitment of ECT2 to the central spindle.
