Human PRPH2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human PRPH2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg123-Gly208, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Peripherin-2 is a ~39 kDa protein. Essential for retina photoreceptor outer segment disk morphogenesis, may also play a role with ROM1 in the maintenance of outer segment disk structure. For research use only.
Required for the maintenance of retinal outer nuclear layer thickness. Required for the correct development and organization of the photoreceptor inner segment.
